What is nanotechnology?
Let`s make two graphs: as the natural sciences and as the techno sphere of dwelling of the humans (as a total sum of technologies useful to mankind) develop. On the axis we’ll postpone time
(centuries) and we’ll impose these conditional graphs against each other. So we’ll receive rather interesting picture: Many thousand years are spent for full comprehension of laws of not relativistic
mechanics of macro objects. As a result the mankind has got a wheel and the simple mechanical adaptations facilitating work.
 On full comprehension of a structure of substance at a level of atoms and molecules it was required “only” three hundred-three hundred fifty years. The mankind has got the steam machine, an electricity, an internal combustion engine, wire and a radio communication, polymers, dynamite and many other things. The mankind began to use a part of this not only on simplification of work, but also on improvement of the rest.
On comprehension of laws of a structure of a kernel has left fifty-seventy years. The mankind has a nuclear energy, rockets, a computer, and in most cases for house use, high-speed, both comfortable cars and the ships and this things is not only for uses, but also for enjoys.
 So, the inertia of process of knowledge of the world, last which stages - macroobjects - material bodies, microobjects - molecules and atoms, and than - elementary particles in nuclear processes was no so good. The “train” of knowledge has flown by past very important station - a stage of studying of laws of formation material mesostructures which sizes lay in an interval from the macrosizes, commensurable with material bodies which the person can observe by means of the sense organs till the microsizes of molecules which the person can observe, only having complex instrument..
Studying of these material mesostructures, laws of their behaviors, studying of their role in control of properties of material macroobjects and search of ways and technologies of their creation and introduction in structure of these real macroobjects - is a subject of a new science -
nanotechnologies.
